“I really love Afar. It is likely I will never get to travel to any of these destinations but I love to learn about them. I love the lovey photographs of the places as well as the well written columns about the people and places you could encounter. By far my favorite column is the spin the globe where a writer is sent to an unknown destination. During covid is it especially nice to have this magazine to peruse.”

“I found my first edition of AFAR to be very informative, entertaining and fascinating. The variety and depth of information picqued my interest and I learned some interesting new material. The magazine is colorful, inviting and well layed out. The photography was most engaging. Since I can't travel as much as I would like, this is a satisfying substitute and will allow me to choose carefully the places I will be able to visit. My "want to see" list is in a 10 gallon bucket, I look forward to the next edition.”
